Knowledge question:

The ethics of an artist greatly influence their expression, as artist expression are commonly projected through art forms. If ethics have no role in the arts, can an artist’s creation still be considered art without a story and purpose (As there ethics does not exist)?

1. Ethics and art will always have a tight coloration as art is an expression of someone’s emotions and character.
2. We see an artwork as its own regardless of the tie between it and the creator as we (The audience) will interpret them differently
3. There is a gray area between art and ethics where it is an appropriate measure of where the two meet in common ground.
