What happens when an artist break the rule?

When an artist breaks the rule, it could go two ways. They could be praised for having the courage to break the norms, or they could be ostracized for creating the art. First off the saying "there is no wrong in art" is completely the one to blame, if art has no limit to its extension then there is no rule. The rule in this context refers to the audience and their feelings, if the audience dislikes the art then they may consider it to break the rule. However, if the audience likes the art, then it is right. Hence, the set of rules are subjective which also means that the outcome of when an artist break the rules could go either good or bad, as mentioned above.
